The original idea with the hats was to make them like a bucket hat but this one turned out more like a slightly shallow sunhat. Either way I love the slightly larger brim and the flat top.

This hat is made from cloth scraps wound around a string and sewn down in a spiral. In this case all the scraps come from a clothing company in Toronto who gave me a bag of their leftover bits. This is why I was able to make it just 3 colours.

This hat is on the small side. The inside of the brim measures 21.5"
